Consuming More YouTube by Watching at 2x Speed

Siraj makes several solid points, but my favorite one is on consuming videos at 2x speed. I first started doing this in 2015 after one of my friends accidentally unplugged his headphones from his computer. The resulting gibberish (to my ears) freaked me out a bit, and for whatever reason was that this guy was brainwashing himself 

At first I was skeptical, until I realized that most people read faster than they speak anyways. I've been doing it ever since.

The Chrome Extension I use is called Video Speed Controller, and works on any video (not just on YouTube). What I love about it is the ability to control the video using the keyboard - which is especially useful in interviews where the speakers each speak at different rates.
